Jacob Hoffman is a New York/L.A.-based, Chicago-raised actor and writer. His career began early when, at age four, he commissioned, wrote, produced, directed, designed, and starred in his Kindergarten class's inaugural (and only) Thanksgiving play. He's quite confident his Kindergarten Thanksgiving Spectacular was a work of pure genius and hasn't looked back since.

Jacob spent his early years working in the Chicago theatre scene as an actor, writer, educator, and administrator; he served as an Artistic Associate for Porchlight Music Theatre and as Artistic Director of Renegade Theatre Company, a youth-founded and run non-profit organization designed to provide professional opportunities for driven young artists.

Jacob is a graduate of New York University, holding a BFA in Drama from the Tisch School of the Arts. As an actor and writer, Jacob has worked extensively on the New York and regional stage. He made his NY solo debut in November 2019 and is a fixture at many of NYC’s premier nightlife venues, appearing regularly at Feinstein’s 54 Below’s Sondheim Unplugged and 54 Below Sings series.

As an educator, Jacob partnered with Bridge Arts Ensemble as a teaching artist, bringing music enrichment education programming to school children across upstate New York. He is also a private acting/audition coach.
